as the earth turns another year around the sun, it brings an incredible time for newness. 

when each individual turns another year around the sun, it brings a beautiful time to reset. 

when both happen at similar times, we can see it as a wonderful blending as to when the world brings new light. 

you and i have discovered so much light together already, yet there’s so much newness unfolding all around us, between us, and within us. 

i have unfolded many discoveries about you, and have chosen to shed so many layers of myself for you to discover about me.

we have said this in relation, it’s compared to peeling back the onion of each other. 

as we create new light with each other, we recognize that we’re also finding new light within ourselves.

we have both shared moments of the shedding and release we are doing for ourself, and within that, we are able to grow this tiny micro-seed that has been rooted in love; i can feel the small white roots of us starting to develop in a little body of water.

slowly, our roots have started to intertwine with each other and i patiently look forward to the sprouting of Spring with you. 

when the world brings new light into a relationship, it’s easy to get caught up in the moments of lust or intimacy, however, with you, the light has shined so brightly on our personal becoming, the sharing of challenge, and how we are magically growing in new ways together. 

as i sit in this moment of awe, admiring you as and all that you are.
